After reading through a majority of the EYFS yesterday, I think im a bit irritated. Does anyone else think that its going to be a HUGE hassle of paperwork and it is different from B23, no matter what they say.
And what's the deal about sending evalutations to the council and forwarding documentation to other providers if the child moves settings? Eh??
Im left feeling slightly confused along with hassled.
What does everyone else think?

I still think there's a lot that has to be sorted and some parts might not apply to us so until all the consulting over and we know for sure exactly what we have to do I'm not going to worry!!!!!!
In other words am burying head in sand and hoping for best.
I thought the bit about sending evaluations to the council was for when the child reached the end of the EYFS in which case it will be done by the school.
Planning for children's development over all the settings a child attends could be a lot more difficult especially if they are spread out (say parent works part time child could go to playgroup in own village and childminder close to mum's work it would be hard for these settings to work together on planning). Still think there's a lot to sort out..............
There's bound to be more paperwork involved whatever
