Was just wondering how everyone copes with their birth to three , do you find it hard to plan or easy?
Do you understand it? I note that we have a few newbies on here and was wondering how you cope with it all?

Hi Shirl
Yes I know the books you are on about because I have them I would recommend them too.
I did some training in this but I do know that a lot of people do not understand it or find it too hard
What do you all think ?
Do you like the extra paperwork
I have a few things if anyone needs any help , let me know and I can pass it on to you by email

Hi all, I have done 4 training courses on birth to three matters but I still find it difficult sometimes! A lot of it is stuff we do anyway without thinking, it is just a matter of noting down how the things we do relate to the criteria. For example, in a child's journal/achievement book, I would maybe show a picture of the child buttoning up its own coat and put a sentence such as 'the child showing a strong sense of self as per .... in birth to three matters'. I don't have any books but I might invest in some if they are useful. Victoria x

I have just been on Amazon to look for the books Shirl recommended, are they £17.99 EACH?! There are four in the series but at this price I doubt I'll bother!

Wow I have not looked myself but that sounds expensive for the books I am not sure how much mine were they were kindly given to me by a friend so I was lucky I found this if anyone is interested The links to each stage are set out really good and very simple and easy to understand for anyone who still finds it difficult. Most of us do I would imagine but like Victoria says it is what we mostly do anyway www.zerotothree.org/dev_miles.htmlHope that works Angel x
