Hi, I have recently started childminding again after 3 years off. last time I was able to claim for presents I bought for minded children at, I think, £20 christmas pressies and the same again for birthdays. I have looked around quite a few of your posts and these havent been mentioned. Is it still allowed? Dawny

hi dawny, any expenses you incur for child minding can be claimed as long as you have the receipt for anything over £10.

Hi
Yes as far as I know they still accept reasonable amounts for gifts.
There is a thread somewhere, probably in childminding chat, about gifts and presents. Will see if I can find it and add a link for you.
