hey all, ive just joined the forum mainly as some support for myself, my mom is a childminder although has difficulty reading, writing and spelling. Therefore i do all her accounts for her which can be extremely stressful as also doing my own job. I was just wandering some of her reciepts from last year have gone missing and what can i do to replace the missing expenditures?
Thanking you!

What a lovely daughter you are! Um... it depends on the amount & what for really ...as if the things she has misplaced the receipts cost under £10..then a receipt doesn't need to be provided. Alturnatively you could see if you could find the items in cataloges etc & note the date bought...would these items show up on her bank/credit card statements in which case copies of these could be used instead. hubby says to just put it through anyway, as they would only check for recipets if they picked you to investigate further anyway. If that happnes, he says you can show cheque book stubs, or card statements etc.
