Hi. Im just doing my first tax return ive done all my NCMA accounts bits in the book. Now im lost on which parts they come under on the online part. i dont want to put it in wrong. Can anyone help Thanks

All you really need to do is put the totals on your earnings page. The one that says earnings below £15,000 (assuming you earned less than that!!)
Put in your earnings before expenses in one box and the earnings after in another, sorry I can't remember the numbers of the boxes.

Hi yes i do earn under 15,000 Ive copied this page ive gone ahead and cant see the expenses its in the booklet as box 3.46 to 3.48 and 3.51 to 3.63. I think im going crazy and cant find it or just being dumb Turnover (including goods etc. taken for personal use) 3.24A £ Please enter a monetary amount Box 3.24A plus any balancing charges entered in box 3.23 3.24 £ Expenses allowable for tax 3.25A £ Please enter a monetary amount Box 3.25A plus any capital allowances entered in box 3.22 3.25 £ Net profit/(loss)

its expenses allowable for tax is it? I take i add my 10% for wear and tear with my other expenses? sorry i sound so dumb. like i said ive done my other job today. to top it off ive got the start of a cold!

That's right, put all the expenses you've added up, like you say there is the 10% wear and tear then there is also allowance for gas and electric, food, toys and equipment etc. etc.
Just get one big total for them all and enter them in 3.25A

thanks i can file it now. I didnt want to do it wrong its so much better doing it online. Its silly as i knew that i wouldnt have to pay any but i still had to do it.Thanks again
