Just come across this activity and thought it sounded brilliant so thought I would share.
Pkt Gelatine Blue food colour Hot water Plastic insects or fish Tongs and tweezers Shallow tray Dried pasta and spaghetti
- Fill pint jug with hot water - sprinkle on 2 sachets gelatine stir until dissolved. - Pour into a shallow tray stir in food colour - Add a further pint of dissolved gelatine - Add 2 pints cold water - Add plastic insect/fish - Add dries spaghetti and pasta shapes. - Leave to set overnight.
I will give this a go next week and let you know how it goes.

I have a problem though about 2 weeks ago I tried everywhere to get some gelatine but no one sells it by me I tried Sainsbury Asda And some local little shops
Ideas please

I know Tesco sell Gelatine, and Morrisons. Brand they sell "supercook". Good luck

This sounds like such good fun. I would try agar agar from the health food shop instead of gelatine - I'm veggie.
You could try the health food shop too for gelatine.

it's a vegetarian gelatin. I think it's seaweed - or is that carageen, similar things anyway.
