Hi Susan This is a good site for a lot of topics but also has a good halloween section www.dltk-holidays.com/halloween/index.htmIf you can give some idea of exactly what you want for multicultural - colouring/crafts/festivals etc I'll see if I've got anything that fits. Miffy

For halloween we will be making paper plate spider webs with dangly spiders, Pumpkin heads from paper plates and paper/glue pulp and painting them. Might give the witches hat crispie cakes a go, uuuummm probably do some bats with black card and stick them on lolly sticks or cardboard springs, will google halloween colouring to get some pages to print. will have a lok at DLTK as well. Going to make pumpkin soup & will have a halloween party - optional dressing up. Will make some spooky drink with food colouring in the water - prob do some coloured Ice cubes too (Red cubes in orange juice wil look good!) Do sandwiches cut into witch hat shapes, havent though too much about the food yet! Will do some simple party games, Musical statues with scary faces. Musical Boo! Might put the ball pit up and paint a Ghost on a few balls & get them to go ghost hunting - again haven't thought that far yet! You could make masks from paper plates - ghosts, monsters witches etc all from very cheap bits & bobs. If I think of more I will come back. Oh you could use glue & rice on black card to make ghost pictures Draw ghosts on black paper with white chalk - or out on the patio if you have one & its a nice day! For multicultural I pick one or 2 events a month & google for info. This month I am doing Eid & halloween. For Eid I have downlaoded and printed some rangoli pictures in colour which I am going to laminate and get the children to put up. I am going to print some black & white ones for the children to decorate with glue & colured rice (thanks to another thread some where on here lol) Have printed the wikepedea (sp?) entry for Eid and will go through it & talk about it with the children. Pop down to your library to see if tthey have any books on festival & celebratiuons?

There are a few good things to make for hallloween on this website www.paperpumpkins.com/Bev X Also look at my thread at the top for fantastic resources there is a diwali resource pack and there is a gun powder plot pack that would be great for bonfire night so that will have you sorted for the next couple of months

There are quite a few halloween related printables on this site (in the free section). You have to register to access them but I have printed some of the pumpkin ones this week for our halloween disco. www.childcareland.com/Amanda xx
