did anyone see this? It was a really good inspiring programme.
A bloke who had a difficult upbringing (parents heavy drinkers), ended up in foster care, has made it as a very successful property developer. he wanted to "give something back" so went undercover as a jobless person in a run down area. he had to decide who to give money to and at the end of the week ended up helping all those he'd met. a homeless centre, a street which council were trying to knock down, and a youth centre. i must admit it brought a tear to my eye, so nice to know people like this exist! and what a fantastic feeling to help out all those people.

I love this programme although it makes me cry buckets. Last weeks was worse. It was a woman who gave gifts of nearly a quarter of a million.

This is the second series. This year they seem to be giving much larger sums of money.

hi i was also in tears last night at secet millionaire, but i was bothered last week about the woman giving money she paid a deposit on a £500,00.00 house and left it at that as far as i can tell so how are these people meant to pay the rest of a half a million mortgage nless she supported them through that too but that wasn't made clear

I was thinking that Mandy! She put deposits down for two lots of people. One was for an investment property for the couple to fund the dance school, so I suppose that one would be paid for by tennants but the other one was for a family to live in so I have no idea how they would manage that. I think the deposit was £80k so that left a mortgage of £420k!!!

This is one of the best programmes on TV. Last weeks was better than this weeks but both had me crying. I too wondered what happened to the rest of the mortgages, guess we will never know!
Must admit Im finding "the jungle" brill. Janice Dickinson is hilarious, I saw her on next top model and she was really nasty but she makes me laugh on this!!! Dont think anyone will make me laugh as much as Dean Gaffney and Paul Burrell when they did it!!! ;D
