Hi everyone. Iwas wondering whats this years toy craze is over there. There is always something that gets sold out. My daughter wants baby alive ( all her friends have one apparently ). Charlie my boy is after Thomas and Jeremy play set . He is nearly 6 and still loves Thomas the tank engine. My hubby thinks he should have out grown Thomas by now. Keep them young as long a poss i say.

my little boy is 5 and thinks Thomas is way too babyish - mores the pity, we spent a fortune on the tomy tomica train set!
The must have item is definately the Wii - I can't get one. Well I could if I wanted to spend £300+ on it, but since it usually sells at £179 I'll wait till they're less in demand!
Hope you're ok.

We've got the kids (and us!) a Wii - for those looking for one you can get emailed updates from www.stocknetwork.co.uk and they let you know where/who has got stock in (some of its not a bad price Got the eldest two a pogo stick (Asda £10) each - hubs is after getting the kids a blue machine - its like a go-cart and has water pistols attached (methinks he is the one who wants it) My youngest James age 3 (next month) is just getting into Thomas the Tank and some of his toys reflect that but I am quite stuck on ideas for him - having two older brothers there isn't much we don't have already and what with his birthday a week before Xmas then I'm even more stuffed. We'll be getting them some new quad kit (outfits) and eldest will not stop blinkin growing at the rate of knots.

thanks for the link vik. it says on the comments that a lot of stores aren't putting stock on the website as they are selling so quickly so best thing to do is keep ringing the stores.
What exactly is a blue machine - never heard of them but sounds like something my son would love.

They are green machines only blue with water pistols on !! lol Toys r us have got them in as do Halfords. They have one big wheel at the front and are similar to a go kart, either side of the front wheel are the pedals (like a cycle) and two like pulley lever control handles to steer (you can do mega skids on them), the water pistols are somewhere aound the handles (I think). My kids got a green machine for last Xmas and love them (as does hubs - you should see him out in the street showing of, its very sad really) but as I say he has now spotted the blue machine. www.stocknetwork.co.uk/merchant.php?id=17www.stocknetwork.co.uk/merchant.php?id=58I am registered for the updates (even though we now got a Wii) so I'll keep you posted on them if you want!

My daughter wants Transformers, specifically Bumblebee and Jazz.....but the decent ones that transform are proving hard to get hold off, have seen them on ebay selling for twice the retail amount......just crossing my fingers that some come back into stock!!!
Just had nightmare getting a Wii for school xmas fete, managed to get one 1st thing Tues morn on the phone with Argos.
And oh yes HSM......thats a biggy where I am, all the girls love it. DH has barred me from buying the girls the soundtrack though, not that I blame him, who ever thought of Sky+ needs shooting we have seen it a million times now. lol

I hate in the night garden but my daughter loves it. Got her some of the characters but not the big ones as they are far too expensive.
Got my son a Nintendo Wii but have paid £250 for it inc 2 games which isnt that bad!! We were lucky to get one though as like most have said the shops havent got them. Apparently Nintendo are holding them back till the last minute to create interest (and probably a couple of punch ups)!!!

My little girl, she's 3, wants Mummy Make me Better. A doll that has plasters, and stethescope =, etc with it and when she cries you put plaster on her and stuff. She also wants a pram. I have got her loads from Toys r us, except for Mummy Make me Better - it is sold out every where at he moment. My son Tim , he's coming 9, he wants a new tv, a LCD this time, we have already got him a BMX. God, kids cost so much, but I can't help spoiling them. As for Transformers, Tim used to love them so much, ages ago, before they became even more fashionable, he has loads of their toys, dvds, now they are sitting in the loft!! LOL sandra x

Lol!! My girls are having a laptop between them which suits me down to the ground so they will stop pestering me for mine (Daddys is too slow). Everyone is feeling sorry for my 18 month old son as I am buying him a cooker!! Well I have always wanted one of the really nice wooden ones and he plays for hours with the one at toddlers so I thought why not!! Amanda xx
