Hi,
i dont know if this is in the right section so feel free to move it if its not.
I think i've got all my paperwork done now apart for planing activities.
How often do you plan activities? How do you put your planning onto paper? When you put it onto paper do you have to say how it relates to EYFS etc? any help is very appreciated.
thanks Louise xx

Short term - ie weekly/fortnightly
Medium - termly
Long - Yearly
With long term is is a broad overview of what your plan say for each quarter October to December - , Firework safety, Start getting ready for Xmas
Medium - break the above down into say monthly segments monthly segments and get slightly more detailed about what you are planning, resources etc
Short - breaking it down further - ie/ week 1 Jan 3-9th Theme Colours (concentraing on blue, red, orange) - and what and how you intend to do and implement,
Hope that helps

I have a topic every few weeks ie road safety learn a new colour each week new number every few days . we concentrated on hygiene ie handwashing ect this topic lasted for a week they all took hand washing posters home with them. When we did road safety they all took road safety posters home stickers we practised crossing the road ie left and right . the links on this website are amazing for eyfs i have picked up lots of useful literature' Lindaxx

Im the same as Linda.
I do a theme of the week/fornight/month, depending on how comprehensive I want the theme to be. Some things like Guy fawkes I do for a week but incoporate a safety theme with it for the rest of the week.
