i have simply asked you guys a question- i have answered all of yours - ie: why i need to know - who i am - what job i do - so why does it feel as if I'M being scrutinised for asking a simple question? all i wanted to know was if there was anyone reading this who was a childminder, linked to a childrens centre, to tell me how it worked- everyone is acting as if its something top secret! i honestly didnt know what a children centre was - then someone on here enlightened me - now i just wanted to know how childminders fitted into the centres.
i am goin to be ringing round the childens centres (now that i know what they are) and find out for myself.
everone on this site asks questions- so how come when i ask them - im getting bullied as to my intentions!!!
thee are a few people on here who have either said - i dont know or have tried to answer my question- and i honestly appreciate that - thankyou guys.

nursery officer is the same as a nursery nurse. - but the company i used to work for were a BIG american company - they called us nursery 'officers' not 'nurses' thats where the confusion lies.

Rubberbadn I think if you want hoesty that its the way you have worded alot of your posts and the way you have come across and you have contradicted yourself from the start. Your manner has got people's backs up.
We are very protective off our site and its members who are loyal and in return we are loyal to the other members and thier resources etc.
We are a good bunch of ladies / gents but sometimes you need to introduce yourself first and then ask your question or ask for help in the appropriate manner .....

hiya Rubberband
I did apologise as I have got so behind in reading posts I am skimming a lot of them and only reading bits (will make sure I read all posts before posting lol)
When I worked in a nursery only the top sort of staff were called officers normally nursery nurses were called just that. Say no more if the chain is now american owned. I hadn't read that sorry. I hope my post did not offend.
love Kate

i have simply asked you guys a question- everone on this site asks questions- so how come when i ask them - im getting bullied as to my intentions!!! Apologies if it was my post that made you feel bullied it wasn't my intention. It wasn't so much the question but my presumption that I thought you were a high up in a nursery by the use of the word Officer as i said in my previous post. It also seemed as if you were fishing for info rather than asking a question - the downside of posting on the internet unfortunately as I said in a previous post today tone of voice is missing. I have not long been on this forum myself but value the information I find here and I am sorry for misreading your post and upsetting you that was not my intention. love Kate
