Tell everyone two things about yourself that no-one knows (obviously not deep personal secrets!!!)
Me -
I am heavily into Family History and have had some wonderful and sad revelations about the family. The earliest i have managed to go back to is 1400's (Channel Islands), I have found a murder, lunacy(! thats where I get it from then), many illegitimate children and a sister of my Dads that no-one knew about and that my nans step-dad became her common law husband. Ergo - I also love History in general
I studied Ballet for several years and was destined to become a professional - a bust ankle playing netball stopped that dream though!
There you go - spilt the beans!
Over to you
Just gotta mention - I LOVE Take That (as if you didn't know already lol)

I took up tap dancing when I was nearing my 30s, with my cousin, and we both got our Bronze awards I don't talk to my parents and haven't done for nigh on ten yrs now. I had an abusive childhood.

My hubby is into geneology big time, tracing back his family.
Not come across anything bad yet but then hasn't started tracing my family yet. Any tips would be greatfully received.
I too have fell out with family, sister though, on going dispute since 1988.
Another snippet I hold a grudge.
Not into ballet or tap too much hard work.
Do like doing cross stitch when I get the chance

Gosh, I'm really boring, can't think of anything interesting to tell you!
So, here's the boring stuff ....
I used to do Kung Fu until a few years ago which was great fun!
I do Teeline shorthand, can take down conversations practically word for word.
I think I should get out more!!! Ha ha!

Hi Susan - brilliant to see you back on here and feeling better!
It's just a form of shorthand. It always used to be Pitman apparently but in the last few years more and more people have been learning Teeline - it's quite easy.
I think that Pitman is more straight lines of varying thicknesses or pressures or something whereas Teeline are different outlines and using just the skeleton of words like for skeleton for instance you would just use 'skltn' but in its outline form IYSWIM!

i used to be a majorette and won the UKFM english championships, i've still got my batons, leotards and pompoms
I'm scared of roundabouts and that's the reason i don't drive, i could never go round them when i was taking my driving lessons, in fact on my second lot of lessons my instructor changed my time to end of day so he could go for a stiff drink

I too hold a grudge and have fallen out with my sister. Haven't spoken to her in nearly a year - mind she's in no rush to talk to me. I send her pix of the kids and a little update but it is not reciprocated sadly.

I won a spicegirl lookalike competition when I was 14. I was baby spice and was in the local paper and won a prize... how embarrasing!
