I am going to make a determined effort from now. We had a fab holiday but I just kept feeling it would have been just that little bit better if I had lost the stone I desperately need to. Don't get me wrong, it did not spoil my holiday and I still wore a bikini but I think I would have been less self concious if I was back to my normal size 12.
We have decided to go away for four weeks next year and I am determined that I will have done it by then. I have plenty of time so do not have to put myself under too much pressure.
On a postive note I did come back 1kg lighter than I went so I am chuffed with that.
Good luck everyone.

This for me is week one DAY ONE! I have decided to stop moaning about my weight and actually do something about it. I have decided to follow the Weight Watchers points plan & my mum has given me all her old weight watchers books (I'm not actually going to any meetings). I have done one of Davina's 30 minute DVD workouts today and I doubt if I will be able to move tomorrow! Wish me luck in my attempts to shift a stone! Emler x

Eugh! I can't stand them! They're as bad as those horrible little aniseed balls! Eugh! Eugh! Eugh!
I've had a few downfalls this week including yum yums, chocolate bourbon biscuits, toffee popcorn and cadbury's chocolate oh and pizza and chip shop chips!
Sometimes I just can't understand why I'm not losing weight!
Weird.

i absolutely love yum yums they are the twisted dohnutty things with icing on. the bakers near me sell three for a £1 luckily i have never given in as i know i'd eat all three. while i was working at the scout camp i thought id' lose weight then because i knew how busy we would be but the team leaders bought great big boxes of biscuits and sweets round every hour or so and it's rude to say no

so do i before the swedes arrived i bought a massive box of biscuits thinking they'd have afternoon tea with us but they don't eat sweet things particularly it's not in their diet and we never had time to even get the box open. so today i have eaten almost the whole tray myself plus a smartie cornetto and all the usual meals and a pack of pombear crisps
