Hi there,
I've just had my course booked for the above course - but its on a Sunday!!
Can I claim something for this, as its on a weekend? If so, how would you claim for it in your accounts?? Double time - weekend? What would you give yourself per hour? I just think that as its a weekend, I should get some refund..... maybe I'm being a scrouge?

Hi Lisa
What is it you want to claim for? your time? you can only claim back expenses, ie You could claim mileage to and from venue, I am sure you cannot pay yourself for time on the course.

Oh right,
yes, I was thinking of time... just doesn't seem fair that I lose half my day over the weekend.
Thanks for advice.

You can claim for your expenses like travel costs, equipment needed, even your lunch, but not for lost earnings as such no.

Thank you - maybe its because I'm being 'told' I've gotta go on this course! All the other ones, I've done because I've booked them.
See, I just don't like being told what to do!!
thank you Lisa x
